The firm has agreed a deal for an extra 3,463 sq ft on the first floor of the building which is currently occupied by Computer Associates. It has agreed to surrender the space and move people down to its 7,353 sq ft ground floor unit.
Elan's new lease will run concurrently with its existing one for 4,154 sq ft of space at the building, which expires in 2016.
Hollins Murray was advised on the deal by Regional Property Solutions.
Charles Murray of RPS, said: “The office building was fully let but we like a challenge and obviously did not want to lose Elan as a tenant. The result is a win-win situation with everybody benefitting.”
Jones Lang La Salle acted for Computer Associates and Elan was unrepresented.
