HMG are pleased to announce that they have let 56 King Street, Manchester to exclusive cookware retailer, Peter Maturi and Sons Limited. This is the first Manchester store for Peter Maturi and Sons and they have agreed to take a 10 year lease at a rent of £55,000 pa. Nick Casson, Chief Executive of HMG, comments "this small but prime retail property became available in the depths of the recession at a time where King Street was suffering from a lack of tenant demand and a significant over supply of available units. There have, however, been a number of new lettings on King Street in recent months which clearly evidences that King Street has reinvented itself as an exclusive retailing destination".
As well at Peter Maturi and Sons other new occupiers on the street include Jack Wills, Cath Kidston, Aubin & Wills, Nigel Hall and Kooples.
Tushingham Moore acted for HMG.
